The Udenu Local Government Chapter of the Tomorrow Is Here Movement (THM), a prominent grassroots support group championing the re-election bid of Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on Thursday paid a strategic courtesy and advocacy visit to Chief Dr. Charles Mba at his country home in Orba, Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The visit comes barely two weeks after the formal inauguration of the Udenu Chapter of the Movement at the Local Government Headquarters in Obollo Afor, signaling a renewed wave of grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.

The delegation was led by the Local Government Coordinator of the Movement, High Chief Mike Urama, who was accompanied by executive officers and members of the group. The visit, according to the group, was part of ongoing consultations with key stakeholders across the Local Government Area to consolidate support for Governor Mbah’s second-term ambition.

In his remarks, Chief Mba warmly received the delegation and commended the group for its commitment to grassroots advocacy and mobilization in support of the Governor. He described Governor Mbah’s administration as transformative, noting that his leadership has introduced innovative policies and developmental strides across Enugu State.

Chief Mba ceased the occasion to reaffirm his undying support for the Governor’s re-election in 2027, emphasizing the need for continuity to enable the consolidation of ongoing projects and reforms.

“I am a firm believer in the transformative governance and innovative leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. I will continue to support him until he is re-elected in 2027, so that he can consolidate the great works he has started for our people,” he stated.

Speaking earlier, the THM delegation expressed appreciation to Chief Mba for what they described as his consistent role as a vocal ambassador of the current administration. The group acknowledged his influence and support in promoting the Governor’s policies and achievements at the grassroots level.

The meeting also featured moments of solidarity, as members of the delegation rendered the Movement’s anthem, “Peter on your mandate we shall stand…,” which was echoed at intervals during the engagement, underscoring their collective commitment to the cause.

The visit is part of a broader strategy by the Tomorrow Is Here Movement to galvanize support across communities in Udenu and beyond, as political activities gradually build toward the 2027 governorship election in Enugu State.
