Earlier today, the Enugu State Patron of the City Boy Movement, Chief Dr. Charles Mba, convened a high-level stakeholder engagement at his country home in Umuafia village, Orba, Udenu Local Government Area, in a move that underscores the growing momentum of grassroots political mobilization in Nigeria.
The meeting, which drew Ward leaders and Local Government Councillors from across Udenu, provided a platform for direct interaction with the Movement, while also reinforcing its presence at the community level. At the heart of the engagement was the distribution of palliatives facilitated through the patronage of Barr. Seyi Tinubu, a prominent figure in the Movement and son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. The City Boy Movement has emerged in recent months as one of the most visible advocacy platforms championing the policies and re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Rooted in youth-driven mobilization and community-based engagement, the Movement promotes the ideals of the administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” with a focus on economic reforms, national development, and inclusive governance.
