The Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Aka Eze Aka, embarked on a working visit to Obollo Eke Autonomous Community, which comprises Ugbabe Uwani and Ogwu villages in the old Obollo Eke.

As part of the visit, the Chairman paid a courtesy visit to the palace of HRH Igwe Simon Ede Omego (Egbeigwe III), the Igwe Ohazurume I of Obollo Eke Autonomous Community. He was warmly received by the Royal Father, members of the Council of Chiefs, the Women Leader, and the Youth Leader.

The courtesy call formed part of the Chairman’s broader engagement with traditional institutions across Udenu, aimed at fostering collaboration, peace, and sustainable grassroots development.

After his interaction with the Royal Father, the Chairman and his entourage proceeded to Ogwu Primary School Field, where he continued his discussions with community members on development priorities.

In his response, Aka Eze Aka expressed appreciation to HRH Igwe Simon Ede Omego for his visionary leadership and steadfast support towards the progress of Udenu Local Government. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, community participation, and equitable distribution of development projects across all communities.

He further emphasized that traditional institutions remain vital partners in promoting unity, resolving conflicts, and driving meaningful development at the grassroots level.
