PDP Zonal Women Leaders, Pay Courtesy Visit to Udenu LGA Chairman

The Zonal Women Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Enugu North Senatorial Zone paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Aka Eze Aka, in a significant demonstration of collaboration and party solidarity, on Thursday. The delegation, led by Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Omeje, was warmly received at the Chairman’s office in Obollo-Afor.

The visit was part of ongoing efforts by the PDP women leaders to foster unity, strengthen grassroots mobilization, and ensure inclusive governance across the senatorial zone. Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Omeje, speaking on behalf of the delegation, commended Aka Eze Aka for his exceptional leadership and in Udenu LGA.

“Your administration has set a standard for impactful leadership in our zone, and we are here to applaud your achievements and explore ways to deepen collaboration between party leaders and grassroots stakeholders,” Hon. Omeje stated. She highlighted key areas where the Chairman’s administration has excelled, including women’s inclusion in governance, citing his choice of woman and his Vice Chairman, and infrastructure development.

The Chairman, in his response, expressed gratitude for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the PDP. He emphasized the critical role women play in politics and governance, particularly in mobilizing support and advocating for developmental policies.
