He highlighted the successful hosting of this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities, themed “Amplifying Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.”
Mr. Onah praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for creating an enabling environment that ensured the success of the event. He lauded the President’s consistent demonstration of love and support for persons with disabilities, describing it as a gesture that restores faith in humanity and underscores the administration’s commitment to fostering inclusion.

Additionally, Mr. Onah called for an increase in the budget allocated to Commission for Persons with disabilities, emphasizing the importance of adequate funding in achieving sustainable development goals for this marginalized group.
