LATE IGWE S.O ABAH’S FAMILY ANNOUNCES THE PASSING OF LOLO ROSELINE ABAH

The Royal Family of the Late Igwe S.O. Abah of Agamede Ada village, Obollo Etiti, Udenu Local Government Area, Enugu State, has formally announced the passing of their revered matriarch, Lolo Mrs. Roseline Opancha Abba (Nee Ezeme).

Lolo Roseline Opancha Abba, a devoted wife, Queen Mother, and retired Healthcare Officer, departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Grace Wellness Hospital, Obollo Afor at the age of 90. Her passing has been described as a great loss to the family, the Obollo Etiti Community, and the Catholic Church, where she was a devoted member.

According to the funeral program released by the first son of the family and the Regent Emeritus of Obollo Etiti, Prince Paschal Abah, a Christian Wake-keep will be held at her Obollo Afor residence on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The wake-keep will begin with a Vigil Mass, where family, friends, and well-wishers will gather to pay their last respects.

The burial Mass will take place the following day, Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St. Mary’s Parish, Ada Obollo Etiti. Immediately after the Mass, interment will take place at her Royal Family House in Agamede Ada, Obollo Etiti, Udenu LGA, Enugu State.

A reception in honor of the Late Matriarch will be held at Ada Central School Field, Amagu Ada, Obollo Etiti, Udenu LGA.

The Family Outing and Thanksgiving Mass will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Ada Agu Parish by 9:00 AM.

Lolo Roseline Opancha Abba lived a life of virtue, service, and dedication to humanity. She was a retired Healthcare Officer who served diligently from the old Isi-Uzo Local Government Area to Udenu Local Government Health Department, where she made significant contributions to public health before her retirement.

Beyond her professional career, she was known for her selfless leadership, generosity, and faith in the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and a host of admirers who cherish her legacy.

The Royal Family, alongside the entire Obollo Etiti Community, has invited all friends, well-wishers, and sympathizers to join in honoring the life and legacy of this great matriarch.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.
