In a heartfelt message, the National Directorate of Employment/Special Public Works (NDE/SPW) adhoc staff in Udenu Local Government Area, Enugu State, have extended their warm congratulations to the newly elected Executive Chairman of the local government, Hon. Aka Eze Aka.
The congratulatory message was signed by Nwodo Caius Onyekachi, the Liaison/Desk Officer for the NDE/SPW in Udenu LGA. The NDE/SPW is a group of 1,000 job-seeking individuals who have been tasked with the primary responsibility of keeping the catchment environments, such as motor parks, trade centers, and public offices, clean and well-maintained.
Inaugurated on October 8th, 2020, across the 774 local government areas in Nigeria, including the 17 LGAs in Enugu State, the NDE/SPW adhoc staff have been actively engaged in their duties to address the issue of unemployment in the country.
As part of their efforts to support the newly elected Chairman during the electioneering, the NDE/SPW group in Udenu LGA produced and gifted 200 polo shirts and 200 caps for their members, allowing them to present a unique and cohesive image marketing Aka Eze Aka while carrying out their responsibilities.
The congratulatory message from the NDE/SPW adhoc staff represents the group’s commitment to working alongside the newly elected local government administration to enhance the overall cleanliness and well-being of the Udenu community.
This gesture underscores the collaborative spirit between the NDE/SPW and the incoming Local Government leadership, as they strive to create a more livable and sustainable environment for the residents of Udenu LGA.
