All is set for a historic milestone at La Vera College of Nursing Sciences, Nsukka, Enugu State, as the institution prepares to host the maiden matriculation ceremony of its pioneer Students. The event is scheduled to hold on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the prestigious St. Joseph Marello Hall, within the college premises.

The day will begin with a Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m., setting the tone for what promises to be a colorful and memorable occasion.

Speaking on the significance of the event, the Founder/Proprietor of the College, High Chief Dr. Anterus Eze, described the matriculation as a landmark in the history of the institution, which was founded with a vision to raise competent, compassionate, and globally competitive nursing Professionals. He emphasized that the pioneer Students are not just learners but torchbearers of a noble dream that seeks to redefine healthcare education in Nigeria.

On his part, the Public Relations Officer of the College, Dr. Louis Ezema, expressed delight at the readiness of the institution to formally induct its first set of students into the academic community. He noted that the ceremony would not only be a rite of passage for the students but also a celebration of resilience, discipline, and the promise of excellence in the healthcare profession.

The matriculation ceremony is expected to attract a distinguished audience including academic leaders, healthcare stakeholders, government officials, parents, guardians, and well-wishers.
