Today, the Igwe-in-Council of Imilike Ani, and Imilike Town Union, led by the revered Ichie Paulinus Nnajiofor (Onowu Imilike), popularly known as Okwochiaba I of Imilike Ani, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Aka Eze Aka, at his office in Obollo Afor. The visit was a significant move of solidarity and grassroots political alignment.

The delegation, comprising Traditional Leaders, Community elders, and influential stakeholders of Imilike Ani, conveyed their support for the Chairman’s administration. They commended his leadership style, development-oriented agenda, and people-driven policies, pledging their readiness to partner with him in driving positive change across the Local Government Area.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Ichie Nnajiofor extolled the Chairman’s commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots transformation. “Mayor, we are here to affirm our loyalty and declare our total support for your administration. We have observed with satisfaction the efforts you have made in office so far. We believe in your vision and are willing to collaborate in any capacity to make Udenu greater,” he stated.

In a symbolic gesture of confidence, the delegation unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman, noting that his performance since assumption of office reflects a strong will to reposition Udenu LGA for sustainable growth.

In his response, Aka Eze expressed profound appreciation to the delegation for their consistent support, noting that their visit was not only encouraging but deeply humbling. He acknowledged the pivotal role Imilike Ani community has played in the socio-political landscape of the Local Government, especially during his campaign and post-election period.

“I welcome you all with a deep sense of gratitude. Your continued support from the campaign period till now is not something I take for granted. It reinforces my commitment to work even harder to justify the trust you have placed in me. This administration is open to partnerships that will foster development, and I see this visit as a positive step in that direction,” the Chairman remarked.

The meeting, which was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and community spirit, culminated in a group photograph session and the exchange of pleasantries between the Chairman and his visitors, symbolizing unity and shared vision for progress. Flanking the Chairman were his Chief of Staff, Dr. Jude Ukwueze, the SLG, Rt. Hon. Chika Aroh, as well as the SPA on Project Implementations, Hon. Chief Basil Obetta.
