A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Patron, City Boy Movement (CBM), Enugu, Chief Dr. Charles Mba (Egbeigwe N’Orba), has reaffirmed the commitment of the City Boy Movement to mobilising grassroots support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Chief Mba gave the assurance on Tuesday when the leadership and members of the City Boy Movement, a coalition of young professionals, entrepreneurs, and grassroots mobilisers, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, at the Government House, Enugu.

The delegation was led by the South East Coordinator of the Movement, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana.
Speaking during the visit, Chief Mba, who is fondly known as Egbeigwe N’Orba, expressed appreciation to Governor Mbah for what he described as his unprecedented grassroots development and innovative leadership within two years in office.

According to him, the governor’s visible development strides across the state have made the mobilisation efforts of the City Boy Movement easier in Enugu.
“The Governor has made the jobs of the City Boy Movement so easy in Enugu, with the great development strides he is making already,” Mba stated. He assuredly declared that they will “shock President Tinubu with massive votes from the South East, in the 2027 polls.”
The visit served as a precursor to the mega rally and formal inauguration of the Enugu State leadership of the City Boy Movement, which took place shortly after the courtesy call.

Responding, Governor Mbah thanked the delegation for the visit and commended the Movement for its commitment to youth mobilisation and national development. He also assured them of his support for the aims and objectives of the organisation.
