Today, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held the grand finale of their 2024 Local Government elections campaign, drawing a massive crowd of supporters.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the party flag to the PDP flag bearers to all the 17 Local Government Areas. The Chairmanship candidate for Udenu LGA, Aka Eze Aka, and his running mate, Hon. Mrs. Onyinye Odoh, received theirs amidst hearty cheers from mammoth crowd of supporters. They were flanked at the occasion by key party stakeholders and stalwarts, including Hon. Cyril Okanya (Okadigbo) of Orba Ward 1.
The ceremony was presided over by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, who officially handed over the party flag to the candidates. This was met with thunderous cheers and applause from the enthusiastic crowd of supporters in attendance.
The grand finale marks the culmination of the PDP’s campaign efforts in the lead-up to the upcoming Local Government elections. Voters in Udenu LGA and across Enugu State will head to the polls in three days time to elect their Local Government leaders.
