The Tomorrow Is Here Movement (THM) in Udenu Local Government Area on Saturday embarked on a series of strategic courtesy and advocacy visits to key stakeholders across the Council area as part of preparations for its much-anticipated formal inauguration scheduled for Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Udenu Township Stadium, Obollo Afor.
The visits were led by the Local Government Coordinator of the Movement, High Chief Mike Urama, who headed a delegation of other Committee members.
The advocacy tour formed part of the broader statewide mobilisation drive of the Movement, which is currently being inaugurated across the 17 Local Government Areas of Enugu State to deepen grassroots support for the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
During the visits, the THM team met with several influential stakeholders in the Council area, including the Executive Chairman of Udenu Local Government Council, Aka Eze Aka, former Chairman of Udenu Local Government, Hon. Eugene Odoh (Ezejioha), and the Chairman of the Udenu Traditional Rulers Council and the Ezeoha I of Egali Amalla, HRH Igwe Patrick Eze (Waziri).
At each stop, the delegation outlined the vision and philosophy of the Tomorrow Is Here Movement, which is dedicated to amplifying the message of the innovative and transformative governance of Governor Peter Mbah while mobilising grassroots support for the sustainability of his developmental agenda.
The Movement, according to the delegation, seeks to bridge the gap between government achievements and public awareness by ensuring that the people at the grassroots fully understand and connect with the ongoing reforms and development initiatives across the state.
The stakeholders who received the delegation commended the philosophy and mission of the Movement, describing it as a timely platform for strengthening civic engagement and consolidating the developmental strides currently being witnessed in Enugu State.
Speaking during the visit, Aka Eze Aka, praised the leadership and members of the Movement for their proactive mobilisation efforts.
He noted that Governor Mbah’s administration has introduced a new governance culture driven by innovation, strategic investments, and a results-oriented approach to development.
The Council chairman encouraged the team to remain committed to their advocacy and grassroots mobilisation efforts.
He also pledged the support of the Local Government administration towards the successful inauguration of the Udenu Chapter and the programmes lined up by the Movement.
The THM is widely described as a coalition of enthusiastic citizens of Enugu State who are passionate about promoting the vision and achievements of Governor Peter Mbah.
Since its emergence, the Movement has continued to expand its presence across the State, with its structure extending to local government areas, political wards, and community levels.
According to the Udenu Coordinator, High Chief Mike Urama, the Movement is committed to ensuring that the developmental strides recorded in the State are properly communicated to the people.
He explained that many of the reforms introduced by the current administration, from infrastructure development to education, healthcare, and economic transformation, represent a new chapter in governance in Enugu State.
With the formal inauguration of the Udenu Chapter just days away, excitement is steadily building among supporters and members of the Movement within the Council area.
The event is expected to attract political leaders, traditional rulers, community stakeholders, youth organisations, and residents from across the Local Government Area.
The inauguration will formally unveil the leadership structure of the Movement in Udenu and outline its operational roadmap for grassroots engagement.
