My attention has been RUDELY drawn to a piece titled WHY HRM IGWE OGADAGIDI SHOULD NOT SUPPORT ILLEGALITY, in which my name Onyekachi C Ugwu Jp was clearly attached as the author, by one Eze Ernest , and shared variously across many social media platforms.
I make haste to state, and categorically without fear of contradicting myself that I did not author such piece nor was I privy to any discussion or event leading to the issue canvassed in that write up. This I say, because it is even laughable in the first place how anyone could have credited the authorship of a piece with a caption that bears no nexus with the body of the essay.
I am not daft. I have never been a daft. If there is anything, I can boast that my penmanship can be attested to by many dispassionate readers. So how can I do a post with a caption that has no alignment with the body of the essay?
On further investigation, I stumbled unto the full article in which that part extracted and credited to me was contained. It was authored by enugupress.com an online paper owned by Gwiyi Solomon . It is from the post from that link that those behind this spurious claims of my authorship of the piece extracted the portion credited to me.
I have quietly reached His Royal Majestu with the clarification and also reached to Mr. Eze Ernest for immediate clarifications on how my name got into the piece as the author.
While waiting for him, I am set to get to the root of the matter.
Oscar Ayogu and other bloggers who are blogging this misinformation should take note.
I reach out to my online friends who must have been embarrassed by this falsehood to remain calm as I have nothing to do with the authorship.
