The Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Aka Eze Aka, has assured people of the area of inclusive governance and good leadership for the benefits of all.
Aka disclosed this in his 64th Independence message to Udenu people on Tuesday.
He said: As your new Executive Chairman, I pledge to you that this administration will be a beacon of good leadership, innovative governance, and holistic development.
“We will work to transform Udenu LGA into a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision.”
Aka equally extolled the Nigeria’s forefathers who fought tirelessly to secure the freedom we now cherish, stressing that their sacrifices and the immense struggles of the people had paved the way for us to chart a new course.
“A course that filled with hope, progress, and the promise of a brighter future”.
He added that the road ahead may not be without its challenges but said he was confident that with the people’s support and their collective determination they would overcome every obstacle and emerge stronger than ever before.
The council boss stressed that, “Together, we will build a Udenu Local Government Area that is a model of prosperity, unity, and progress as well as a place where every citizen can thrive and reach their full potential.
“We already have a model in Gov. Peter Mbah, our Governor, who has set the pace for the integral grassroots development of our dear State.
“In line with his charge to us during our swearing-in ceremony on Monday, our Mantra: “In touch with Tomorrow” — “speaks to the immediacy of the tasks before us and how we can immediately get to solving those problems without procrastination.
“It also reminds us that the tomorrow we envision is within our grasp, but just to the extent we are able to innovate. That is why we are now talking about disruptive innovation.”
Aka further urged Udenu people to join him as he take the giant step to reposition the council area.
“So, so in this auspicious occasion, I urge you all to rededicate yourselves to the principles of justice, equality, and national unity that have sustained our nation.
“Let us embrace the spirit of patriotism and work hand-in-hand to create a Udenu Local Government Area that we can all be proud to call home,” he charged them.
