The Vice-Chancellor, of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, has approved the appointment of Prof. Kenneth Chukwuemeka Obetta as the Director of the newly established Community Relations Directorate of the institution.

The Directorate, a novel structural innovation under Ortuanya’s administration, is designed to serve as the institutional bridge between the University and its surrounding Communities, ensuring mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable community engagement in line with the University’s land-grant philosophy.
