A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart and real estate magnate, Chief Dr Charles Mba, popularly known as Egbeigwe N’Orba, has hosted serving and aspiring federal legislators from Enugu North Senatorial District at the prestigious Four Points Hotel by Sheraton Lagos, in a major show of support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The high-profile gathering that has Chief Emeka Odo, as one of the Organizers formed part of Mba’s ongoing “Vote APC from Top to Bottom” mobilisation campaign, aimed at galvanising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah; and all APC candidates contesting elective positions across Enugu State.

Those in attendance included Senator Ikeje Asogwa, representing Enugu North Senatorial District in the Senate; Hon. Dennis Agbo, representing Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; Hon. Chidi Obetta, representing Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency; and Hon. Dr Cornell Onwubuya, representing Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency.

The four lawmakers are seeking re-election in 2027, and they were at the meeting to discuss their respective manifestos with key stakeholders from Enugu North Senatorial Zone. Chief Mba, alongside the Organizers pledged to deploy their extensive grassroots support base in support of their political aspirations and the party’s electoral fortunes.
A major highlight of the event was Mba’s endorsement address, during which he reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising voters for APC candidates across the State. The lawmakers and other political candidates also delivered appreciation remarks, acknowledging the Real Estate Entrepreneur’s support and sustained commitment to the party’s mobilisation efforts.

Mba’s latest engagement adds to an increasingly visible campaign that has seen him intensify political consultations and voter mobilisation across Enugu North Senatorial District since the commencement of the current campaign-related activities.

Under the “Vote APC from Top to Bottom” banner, the APC chieftain has consistently called on party faithful and members of the public to support the party’s candidates at every level of government, from the presidency to the State governorship and State/National Assembly seats.
As part of the campaign, Charly Mba has also committed substantial resources to media, publicity and outdoor advertising to amplify the party’s message. Mega billboards promoting APC candidates have been mounted across the three federal constituencies in Enugu North Senatorial District, reinforcing the campaign’s visibility and appeal to voters.

The initiative is designed to consolidate support for President Tinubu’s administration, Governor Mbah’s leadership in Enugu State, and APC candidates seeking legislative and other elective offices in the 2027 elections.
The gathering, which extended late into the night, featured sumptuous meals, entertainment and convivial interactions among the political leaders and guests, providing an opportunity to strengthen relationships and reinforce their shared political objectives ahead of the polls.

Mba, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CDV Properties Ltd., is a recognised figure in Udenu and Enugu State politics, with growing involvement in political mobilisation and party advocacy.
His latest show of solidarity with the Enugu North federal lawmakers signals his determination to translate his political networks, publicity investments and grassroots influence into electoral support for the APC as the State’s political actors prepare for the 2027 general elections.
