Chief Hon. Chimezie Mba, has congratulated Hon. High Chief Raymond C. Ugorji (Bishop) on his emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Imo State House of Assembly, Oru East Constituency, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement made available to journalists, Mba, who is also the Managing Director of 34V Engineering Ltd, described Ugorji’s emergence as “well-deserved and reflective of the people’s confidence in his leadership capacity and philanthropic disposition.”
He noted that Ugorji’s track record of generosity, grassroots engagement, and pragmatic approach to leadership has endeared him to the people of Oru East, adding that his candidacy represents a strong hope for effective representation in the State Assembly.

The Udenu-born political figure further commended the leadership of the PDP in Imo State for what he described as a “thoughtful and strategic decision,” noting that the party has once again shown its commitment to presenting credible candidates capable of delivering democratic dividends.
Mba expressed optimism that Ugorji, if elected, would bring his wealth of experience and passion for service to bear in legislative duties, particularly in advancing policies that would improve the socio-economic well-being of the people of Oru East Constituency.
