A prominent businessman and stakeholder from Enugu North Senatorial District, High Chief Charles Mba, has declared that the Zone has benefited immensely from the infrastructural development agenda of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, describing the Governor’s projects across the zone as unprecedented.

Mba, popularly known as Egbeigwe N’Orba, made the remarks during the recent mega endorsement rally organised by stakeholders of Enugu North Senatorial District in support of Governor Mbah’s second-term bid ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The rally, which drew thousands of party faithful, political leaders, traditional rulers, Business Executives, Youth groups and supporters from across the Zone, ended with a unanimous endorsement of Governor Mbah as the sole governorship candidate of the Zone for the 2027 election cycle.

Speaking in Nsukka dialect to a cheering crowd, Mba stated that the current administration had demonstrated exceptional commitment to the development of the Nsukka cultural Zone through strategic infrastructure and social investment projects.

According to him, the district has recorded significant gains in the ongoing Smart Green Schools initiative, healthcare expansion and transportation reforms being implemented by the State government.

He noted that, owing to the district’s population strength and number of political wards, Enugu North currently hosts a greater number of Smart Green Schools and Type II Primary Healthcare Centres compared to other Zones in the State.

Mba also highlighted the extension of the State’s Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) transport initiative to major routes connecting Nsukka communities with Enugu metropolis, describing the intervention as a major economic relief for residents and commuters.

He explained that the visible impact of the governor’s policies informed the decision of stakeholders across the senatorial district to unanimously adopt Mbah as their preferred candidate for another term in office.

“The projects are visible across the district. From education to healthcare and transportation, the governor has shown practical commitment to the development of Nsukka land,” Mba stated.

The Real Estate guru, who is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CDV Group and CDV Properties Ltd, has remained one of the outspoken supporters of the Mbah administration since its inception.

He attended the rally alongside members of his family, including his wife and younger brother, Chimezie Mba, who also joined other stakeholders in endorsing the Governor.

Political observers described the event as one of the largest political gatherings witnessed in the district in recent times, with speakers from various Local Government Areas expressing confidence in the Governor’s developmental agenda.

The endorsement rally has continued to generate widespread reactions across the State, with Mba’s remarks emerging as one of the strongest public affirmations of support for the governor from Udenu Local Government Area.

Supporters at the event maintained that the Governor’s performance in infrastructure, education, healthcare and transport sectors had strengthened public confidence in his administration and positioned him favourably ahead of the next electoral cycle.
