As Udenu Local Government Area marks one year of Aka Eze Aka’s administration, tributes have continued to pour in, with Hon. Chimezie Mba, Special Adviser on Urban and Rural Development, applauding the Chairman’s pragmatic and visionary leadership.
Quoting an anonymous maxim: “The true measure of leadership is not in titles or tenure, but in the tangible transformations that touch the lives of the people,” Mba praised Aka for redefining grassroots governance through tangible achievements in infrastructure, security, and community development.

He cited the reconstruction of the iconic Obollo Ag’Ag’ Roundabout, the comprehensive grating of feeder and inland roads across Wards, and the Chairman’s partnership with RAMP for the proposed construction of the Onumkpu Ogerenyi–Umuoleyi–Umuitodo bypass road network as milestones of progress.
On security, Mba hailed the procurement of 20 patrol motorbikes for the Udenu Neighborhood Watch, describing it as a bold response to emerging threats. He also acknowledged the administration’s investment in education and community welfare, which, he said, have begun to uplift the quality of life in the area.

Mba expressed optimism that the second year of Aka’s administration would consolidate these gains and deepen Udenu’s development journey under the banner “Udenu… In Touch with Tomorrow.”
