A new Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, has emerged.
He is Prof Simon Ortuanya.
A renowned lawyer, who has been reporting the trend confirmed it.
He shared the message in a post on his Facebook page, Sunday night.
“Finally, Professor Simon Uchenna Otuanya is the next Vice Chancellor of University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
“Now, you can start congratulating him.”
NATIONAL POST also reached out to other sources who confirmed the development.
Ortuanya has made history as the first indigenous Vice Chancellor of the UNN after over 60 years of its existence.
The professor of law is a former Secretary to the Enugu State Government, as well as Director General of South-East Governors’ Forum.
His emergency came with a lot of dramatic twists which has ended today.
