The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the forthcoming Udenu Local Government Council Election, Hon. Dr. Innocent Ezeoha, on Monday commenced his Community-to-Community Consultative Engagement across the 31 autonomous communities in Udenu Local Government Area, beginning with Ogbodu Aba Autonomous Community.
The interactive consultation is designed to provide a platform for Dr. Ezeoha to engage directly with the people, listen to their expectations, and present his vision and development agenda for Udenu as preparations for the official election campaigns gather momentum.
As early as 11:00 a.m., the Udenu Local Government Secretariat, Obollo Afor, came alive with an unprecedented influx of stakeholders, party faithful, supporters, and members of the public who converged ahead of the departure of the entourage to the host communities.

Leading the delegation was the Chairman of Udenu Local Government, Aka Eze Aka, accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Onyinye Odoh. Also present were the Member representing Udenu Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah; the Senior Legislative Assistant to Senator Ikeje Asogwa; former Chairmen of Udenu Local Government including Onyekachi C. Ugwu, Hon. Eugene Odoh, and Hon. Innocent Eze; the four Development Centre Administrators; the Udenu APC Chairman, Hon. Meletus Onah; traditional rulers; members of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Udenu Chapter; youth and women leaders; party executives; and numerous supporters.
The impressive turnout reaffirmed the widespread acceptance of Dr. Ezeoha’s candidacy, reflecting the confidence reposed in him by the APC and the people of Udenu. Widely acknowledged as a grassroots mobilizer and community-oriented leader, Dr. Ezeoha continues to enjoy strong support across the local government.
The team arrived at Ogbodu Aba Autonomous Community at about 2:30 p.m., where residents turned out in large numbers to receive the APC candidate and his entourage with songs and enthusiastic cheers. Following a productive engagement with the community, the crowd proceeded to Imilike Etiti Autonomous Community in Imilike Ward, where a similar atmosphere of excitement and warm reception greeted their arrival.

Speaking during the engagements, Hon. Dr. Innocent Ezeoha commended the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for what he described as his filial commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy and faithfully implementing the transformative vision captured in the administration’s “Tomorrow Is Here” agenda. He assured the people that his administration, if elected, would consolidate on the developmental strides of the State government through people-oriented policies, inclusive governance, and responsive leadership at the grassroots.
The consultative tour continues on Tuesday as Hon. Dr. Innocent Ezeoha is scheduled to visit more autonomous communities across Udenu Local Government Area in the coming days, as part of his commitment to building a government anchored on dialogue, participation, and community-driven development.
