The Senator-Elect for Enugu North Senatorial Zone, Ide Ikeje Asogwa, has received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja, alongside other candidates who emerged victorious in the recently concluded National Assembly by-elections across the country.
The presentation of the Certificate of Return officially confirms his election as the duly elected representative of Enugu North Senatorial Zone in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Following the issuance of the certificate, Senator-Elect Ikeje Asogwa is expected to be formally inaugurated and sworn in as a member of the Senate on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Senate Chamber of the National Assembly, Abuja.
His inauguration will mark the commencement of his legislative duties and representation of the people of Enugu North Senatorial Zone in the National Assembly.
