Prominent businessman, political stakeholder, and Coordinator of the City Boy Movement in Enugu State, High Chief Dr. Charly Mba (Egbeigwe N’Orba), has congratulated the Senator-Elect for Enugu North Senatorial District, High Chief Ikeje Asogwa, following his victory and official declaration as the winner of the recently concluded Enugu North Senatorial District By-election.
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen, Dr. Mba described Asogwa’s victory as a reflection of the widespread acceptance and confidence he enjoys among the people of the Senatorial District.
According to him, the overwhelming support witnessed during the campaign period across the six local government areas that make up the district made the outcome of the election largely predictable.

Recalling his remarks during a recent interview at the grand finale of the campaign rally held in Ibagwa-Aka, Igbo Eze South Local Government Area, Mba noted that Asogwa’s popularity transcended political, social, and community divides.
“Your acceptance across all segments of our people was evident throughout the campaign. The overwhelming support witnessed across the Senatorial District made this victory not only predictable but truly resounding,” he stated.
The renowned entrepreneur expressed confidence in the ability of the Senator-Elect to provide effective representation for the people of Enugu North Senatorial District at the Senate, describing him as a capable leader with the requisite experience to justify the confidence reposed in him by the electorate.
He further urged Asogwa to remain committed to the aspirations and expectations of the people while discharging his legislative responsibilities at the National Assembly.
Dr. Mba also offered prayers for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for the Senator-Elect as he prepares to assume office.
“I am confident that you will justify the mandate entrusted to you and provide effective representation for the good people of Enugu North Senatorial District. I pray that Almighty God grants you the strength of mind and body to serve our people diligently,” he added.
