Today, Obollo Progressive Union (OPU), a sociocultural and development advocacy group comprising progressive-minded Obollo sons and daughters, paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area — Aka Eze Aka. The visit, which was a notable move towards fostering community development and strengthening government-citizen collaboration, took place at the Udenu LG Secretariat in Obollo Afor.
The OPU delegation, led by prominent members — Emeka Abonyi, Pius Ugwu, and Eze Fredrick, engaged in fruitful discussions with the Chairman aimed at charting a path for sustainable development in the Obollo community and beyond.
In their address, the delegation commended Aka for his commendable strides in governance, noting his impactful leadership and dedication to the growth of Udenu Local Government. They outlined plans to construct, renovate, and equip Information and Communication Technology (ICT) center in the area. These centers, they said, would be used to train residents in various ICT packages and enhance their skills for economic empowerment.

They assured the Chairman of their willingness to partner with the Local Government in other areas as well, aligning with his administration’s vision for progress and development.
