Yesterday, Monday, 19th January 2026, High Chief (Dr.) Charly Mba (Egbeigwe N’ Orba) formally flagged off the All Progressives Congress (APC) membership e-registration exercise in Orba Ward 1, Udenu Local Government Area, in a powerful display of grassroots mobilisation and party unity.
The event, held at the Nkwo Orba Primary School Field, attracted a massive turnout of party faithful, community stakeholders, youths, and women groups. Proceedings were streamed live across various social media platforms by the AkaEzeAka Media Team, further amplifying the reach and impact of the exercise.

Chief Mba, the sponsor of the event, was ably represented by his younger brother, Chief Chimezie Mba (Omemgbeoji), who also serves as the Special Personal Assistant (SPA) to the Executive Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area on Rural and Urban Development.
The Chairman of Udenu LGA, Aka Eze Aka, presided over the proceedings as APC’s digital membership registration drive in the area continues.
Several top party and government functionaries graced the occasion, including the Vice Chairman of Udenu LGA, Hon. Mrs. Onyinye Odoh; former Vice Chairman of Udenu LGA and Administrator of Orba Development Centre, Hon. Cyril Okanya (Okadigbo); and the APC Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Meletus Onah.
Other dignitaries in attendance included party leaders, ward executives, stakeholders, community leaders, and a large number of enthusiastic party supporters who turned out in solidarity with the initiative.

In their respective remarks, party leaders emphasized the strategic importance of the e-registration exercise in strengthening the APC at the grassroots, enhancing inclusiveness, and positioning the party for future electoral success. The impressive turnout and high level of enthusiasm further reflected the growing confidence of the people in the APC and its leadership at both the Local and State levels.
Addressing the gathering via a phone call, High Chief Dr. Charly Mba expressed deep appreciation to APC members and supporters in Orba Ward I for the overwhelming turnout. He extended warm greetings to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Chairman of Udenu LGA, the Vice Chairman, ward executives, and all party stakeholders. He urged party members to intensify grassroots mobilisation for the APC, reaffirmed his unwavering support for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and his commitment to sustaining good governance in Enugu State, and restated his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He further thanked the people of Orba Ward 1 for making the flag-off a resounding success.
The successful flag-off marked another significant milestone in consolidating the APC’s structures in Udenu Local Government Area and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to participatory, inclusive, and people-driven politics.
