Umuokara Community in Orba Ward I of Udenu Local Government Area has emerged as the highest-performing single community for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Udenu LGA during the recently concluded Enugu North Senatorial Bye-Election held on June 20, 2026.
Official polling figures from the ward indicate that Orba Ward I recorded a total of 507 votes for the APC, ranking third among all Wards in Udenu in terms of votes secured by the party. Of that total, Umuokara Community contributed an impressive 338 votes, accounting for well over half of the APC votes recorded in the Ward.
The result places Umuokara Community at the forefront of APC support in the Local Government Area, making it the single highest-voting Community for the ruling party during the senatorial Bye-election.
Some keen political observers have described the performance as a reflection of effective grassroots mobilization and sustained engagement between local stakeholders and the party. The outcome is also seen as an indication of the Community’s growing relevance in the political landscape of Enugu North Senatorial District.
